To clean mildew around the refrigerator door seal, use a 1 to 1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. For easy cleaning, put solution in a spray bottle, spray on and let soak for 30 minutes. Remove baked-on particles from cast-iron skillets with a Libman scrub brush. Avoid using metal scouring pads because they will scratch the surface.

When an enamel pan is badly burnt, sprinkle it with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of salt. Let it stand for an hour, then gently rub the pan with a Libman scrubber.
