We reward our children with a point system. For every household chore them complete they get a sticker on a chart. In the end they can cash them in for goodies and toys!

A2.) I reward by giving treats (favorite snack), watch favorite movie/dvd, or even give money for the piggy bank. =) #CleaningAsAFamily

My son gets a weekly allowance only if he does his specified chores every day all week long. Works sometimes LOL

"HE is able to enjoy one of HIS favorite moments whether it's outside to play with friends, tv time or game time! " :)

  8. We had a chart system. Once we finished our chores, we could pick from pizza night, sleeping over at our friends, or get to pick the movie for movie night.

A2: We have a chore chart, and each time my son does what's listed, he gets a sticker. At the end of the week, we count his stickers. Ha;f his allowance goes to savings (for college) the other half he gets to spend :) #CleaningAsAFamily

What kind of activities do they enjoy? Have you ever tried turning cleaning into one of those activities?

It varies depending on the job. Their rooms are their responsibility, but other chores around the house will help them earn a trip to the park, a special treat like icecream or sometimes $ to go towards an item they are currently saving up for.

Yes, rewards are a good motivator and at the end of the week they get to choose what special event we want to do: movies, park etc...#CleaningAsAFamily

They get stars on a chart and for every so many stars they get $1. Then at the end of the week they can spend their money at the $1 store!
